The harassment suffered by Dora Moutot
Before I tell you the story of my harassment, I'd like to start with this line from Eleanor Roosevelt: "Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people." I sincerely believe in free speech and I am 100% in favor of people being able to critique my ideas, argue and debate.
"I don't agree with what you say but I will fight to the death so you can say it" Voltaire would have said. And I agree with him on this point.
But there is a difference between criticizing an idea, a way of conceiving the world and harassing and attacking someone. The people who attack and defame me are rarely able to detail why I would be wrong. They are content to call me names, to find all the faults of the planet, to insult me, and to constantly make false and dishonest shortcuts to discredit me with the malicious will to "cancel" me.
When I started being stalked, it had been a year since I started the @Tasjoui instagram account.
@Tasjoui is an Instagram account that deals with heterosexual women's sexuality and its issues through the lens of feminism. A pioneering account of sexo-feminism on Instagram in the French-speaking world, my account was a real success and was very quickly followed by more than half a million people.
New in the feminist media universe, the media titled: "Le phénomène T'as Joui" or "Le raz-de-marrée T'as Joui" to talk about the craze around the account.
Everything was fine.
Until some trans activists started to attack me...
In the beginning of my harassment: THE "AGGRESSIVELY TRANS" ACCOUNT.
It was in 2019, in the context of my work around my @tasjoui account, when I was participating in a campaign to raise the visibility of the clitoris organ organized by Clit Gang entitled "It's not a pretzel"that the harassment towards me started.

The "Aggressively Trans" account run by a transfeminine male who calls himself "Lexie", made a story called "Dora the Terf" that stayed on the front page of his Instagram page for years (before being removed when his book was released). He made another story called "Pretzel" to denounce the campaign to make the clitoris visible.
In these stories, Agressively Trans denounced the so-called "transphobia" of this campaign as well as my "transphobia".
According to this individual, advocating for greater visibility, knowledge and education around the clitoris organ, as well as all the content of my account @tasjoui would be "essentializing", "LGBTphobic", "transphobic" and "not inclusive".

Aggressively Trans began to write me private messages criticizing me and explaining that "it's sad to systematically limit everything to cisgender people."
Tired of having multiple strangers constantly telling me what I should talk about in an inappropriate tone, I curtly replied to his message. My response was as follows :
- "My account is a heterosexual account. That's my angle. You're not happy, it's the same. Got it? ".

At the time, I had absolutely no idea whether "Aggressively Trans" was gendered as a man or a woman, as her pseudonym and avatar gave no indication. I obviously can't be interested in the identity of every person who writes to me. I receive hundreds of messages a day, I have thousands of followers. At the time, unlike today, I had no bias on the use of pronouns.
But Agressively Trans took the opportunity to cry transphobia, accusing me in a story of "megenering" him (I should have said "you're not happy, instead of saying "you're not happy") by sharing a screenshot of our exchanges.
He took the opportunity to tweet "Dora Moutot and her transphobia represents neither feminism nor the most elementary human decency".
I immediately blocked this person

However, to this day, Aggressively Trans continues to harass me.
This person is supported by some media figures such as Rokhaya Diallo or Lauren Bastide and is often invited in the media.
Everyone turns a blind eye to the harassment of this person towards many women: me, Marguerite Stern, Julia Pietri or Antastesia etc.

Aggressively Trans has been obsessively harassing me on the networks for years. This person, who was not very visible at the beginning of the harassment towards me, used a known strategy to gain audience: to hit someone visible, to stir up hatred towards me, to dehumanize others, in order to attract the light.
Taking me as its scapegoat, Agressively Trans made stories on the front page (stories remaining fixed on its profile, the classic stories disappearing after 24 hours) repeatedly ("Dora la terf", "Dora 2", "Dora 3", "Moutot"), harassing me through tweets, memes, inventing me little names (Mora Douto, Dorat Moutot, D.M), organizing lives about me, publicly telling that I am close to "neo-nazis", distorting everything I say, and inciting his audience to harass me in turn by playing little guessing games.
Snowballing harassment
Aggressively Trans' harassment of me snowballed and influenced many, many people to harass me, imitating the formats that Agressively Trans had started.
The "Dora la terf " headline stories were imitated by many people.
A false reputation of "transphobic" was built from this first harassment.

It has become a form of integration into the queer and intersectional feminist community to produce harassing content against me or Marguerite Stern, and to invite people to "unfollow @tasjoui" or else be accused of "transphobia". See the page that details the different harassment techniques.
Some of the most followed accounts have actively participated in the defamation of me, have amplified my harassment and have played the game of cancel culture. This is the case of:
"Le coin des LGBT", Amal Tahir from the account "Inside Women", Coline Charpentier from the account "T'as pensé à", Léane Alestra from "Mécréantes", Sabrina Erin Gin from "Olympe Reve", Camille Giry and Justine Lossa from "Justine et Camille", Rose Lamy from "Préparez vous pour la Bagarre", Léa Toussain from "Merci Beaucul", Charline Vermont from "Orgasme et moi", Aliona from "La prédiction", Masha from "Masha Sexplique", Elvire Duvelle Charles from "Clit Révolution", the author Morgane Ortin from "Amours Solitaires", the transfeminine photographer "Olivia Ciappa", the transfeminine tiktokeur "Ljpizza1", the transmasculine instagrammer Jacob-Elijah "Transnoir", the transfeminine youtuber "Venus", the transmasculine instagrammer "Loulou Parfois", the transmasculine instagrammer "Mickargrd", Constance Lefebre of the twitter "Question Trans et Féministe", the dancer "Habibitch", the transmasculine journalist of Tétu "Hali Bottom", the illustrator Penélope Bagieux, the anti-grossophobia activist "Daria Marx", the journalist of Arret sur Images Pauline Block, the journalist Laurène Bastide, the journalist of Binge Audio Victoire Tuaillon, the journalist of Madmoizelle Maèlle Lecore, the Youtubeuse Carolina Gonzales of "La Carologie", the make-up artist Fanny Maurer, the porn actress Nikita Belluci, the author Marie Peltier, the author Valérie Rey-Robert, the author Mona Chollet, and many others...
Thousands of small accounts inspired by these influencers have in turn harassed, defamed and insulted me.
So much so, that in the street, in demonstrations or parties, my name is now posted to vilify me.

What I am accused of
When Aggressively Trans started harassing me, I knew absolutely nothing about the "trans" subject.
I didn't have any negativepreconceived notions about this community. I even had a positive bias, because through my former blog "The Gazette of Bad Taste" which was about kitsch aesthetics, I particularly liked some queer artists, like John Waters.
Only the angle of my @tasjoui account was female heterosexuality and patriarchy, and trans-identity was simply not part of my editorial angle.
I learned the meaning of the term "TERF" after a Google search the day Aggressively Trans labeled me as such.
It was the consequences of the harassment of Aggressively Trans, the unheard-of violence of the trans community towards me when I had not yet said anything and understood anything about the subject, their will to "cancel" me, to make sure that I could not speak freely about women's bodies, to harm me, their constant threats, that made me realize that there was a subject to be dug up and that something was not right...
I did what is called a "Peak trans" in the English-speaking world.
It was because of the harassment I experienced that I became interested in transgender ideology and its impact on women.
That's how I started to talk about the subject and how I was contacted by women who invited me to sign some articles like "Trans: is it enough to declare oneself a woman to be able to demand to be considered as such?" on Marianne.
I also became aware of the harassment and the censorship that other women around the world were undergoing when they said something obvious: a woman is an adult human female.
I began to understand the stakes of the subject, to understand that there was in the transgender ideology a will to abolish the notion of sex in favor of the concept of gender and to understand that laws that would penalize women and children were being passed without anyone deigning to be interested.
In 2021, when the law banning LGBT conversion therapies was being voted in France, I heard that some deputies and senators had added the notion of gender identity in the text of the law. I decided to talk about it to Marlène Schiappa who received me.
Along with activist Anissia-Docaigne-Makhroff, we challenged the senators and invited our communities to do the same, urging them to think about and clarify the notion of gender identity, explaining why this notion undermines the effectiveness of this legislation. We wrote to them, " I strongly support the proposed legislation to ban sexual orientation conversion therapy, but I believe that the addition of gender identity undermines the effectiveness of this legislation. This was followed by a huge smear campaign against me launched by "The LGBT Corner" and "Aggressively Trans", accusing me of wanting the torture and death of trans people, playing on the fact that most people will never go and read the text I sent to the senators and therefore will never understand the nuance of its content.

Since then, I speak from time to time about the problems posed by transgender ideology in the rare media in France that want to hear about it.
With Marguerite Stern, we have co-signed an article about the "pregnant man" in the communication campaign of the family planning. We were received by some deputies like Aurore Bergé, Caroline Yadan and Astrid Panosyan Bouvet, which obviously only accentuated our harassment. Some media took advantage of this to write completely false buzz articles about us, to which we had to send rights of reply.
To summarize:
I am simply accused of saying that being a woman is a material and biological reality and not a feeling that any man can appropriate.
I've been criticized for not putting my head down and refusing to use the terms "menstruating people" or "people with vulvas".
I've been criticized for doing research on the subject, and for informing others about it.
I am accused of being interested in the financing of this ideology.
I have been criticized for talking about the misogyny of this ideology.
I have never insulted or harassed trans people.
I have never called for hate.
I have, however, pointed out the harassment that some people put me through and I would continue to do so.

stabbings, betrayals and sheep-like behaviors
I have received many, many backstabbing from some of the people I have reached out to. I helped invent and popularize a style of feminist activist content on Instagram at a time when no one in France was using the platform in this way.
The success of my account spawned a whole bunch of new accounts in this feminist Instagram activism movement and I graciously offered visibility to many women who wanted to get started.
Some of the same people who used me as a springboard, then called me transphobic at the first opportunity, when it became fashionable to spit on me, without even trying to think through the substance of the subject, no doubt out of conformity and adherence to the woke culture and its cancel-culture system. Others did not speak out publicly, but discreetly fired me from what's app accounts where the Instagram sex community was exchanging.
It's as if there's some ostentatious virtue in clearing me, denouncing me, demonizing me, dehumanizing me, as if this suddenly puts them on the "right side of history" and they can brag about it. The logic is this: for fear of being suspected of being a "TERF" and suffering the consequences, it is better to denounce one, in order to buy oneself some peace.
Unbelievably disingenuous, yet true, I graciously wrote the foreword to Amal Tahir's book from the "Inside Women" account when she asked me to. When push came to shove, without even discussing the subject with me, she made a story calling me transphobic, inviting in comments to go see "the permanent story of Aggressively Trans". I had to call her editor urgently to demand that she remove the preface from her upcoming book.

I also graciously helped Elvire Duvelle-Charles of the Instagram account "Clit Revolution" to reach 100,000 followers by regularly inviting my followers to follow her. She needed this level of audience for producers to be willing to produce her documentary series. The one who used me well when she needed to, now defames me with impunity. In her book on feminism and social networks, she writes that I have "extremely violent positions towards transgender people".
I have dozens of such examples.
A phenomenon of dehumanization and invisibilization
The defamation of me and the malevolence has truly gone out of hand. I am called transphobic, anti-trans, islamophobic, anti-semitic (when I am Jewish myself), validist, grossophobe, conspiracy theorist, right-wing fascist, anti-abortionist, you name it. It's a real contest.

It seems to me that there is a real phenomenon of inversion here.
People are constantly insulting me online and wishing me dead or suicidal.

The stalkers contact the brands I work with in order to cancel all my partnerships and sometimes get them to "cancel" me publicly, as was the case with the brand "Passage du désir" which took advantage of the opportunity to create a buzz about me and show a clean face to trans activists.

Stalkers also contact the platforms where I receive donations for my activist work.
They are trying to destabilize me financially.
They go into bookstores to put "transphobic" labels on my books and trade with the booksellers in an effort to have my books removed from display and stock.

The cancel culture works like a charm and fear sets in.
Suddenly, articles that talk about sex-activist instagram accounts don't mention me anymore. I'm no longer invited to feminist festivals. The same left-wing press that used to celebrate the work done on @tasjoui for the cause of women, now only talks about me to defame me and tries to make me look like a fascist.
The purpose of this harassment is to dehumanize me completely and especially to dissuade any woman from speaking out on this subject. To make women understand that speaking publicly about this subject is so risky that they would be better off keeping quiet.
As the philosopher Bertrand Russel said, "Collective fear fosters herd instinct and cruelty toward those who do not belong to the herd."
